RE/MAX Living was founded in 1995 during one of the toughest years in real estate as interests soon reached 25%.
The company has grown to where it is today through a philosophy that was dedicated to the empowerment of each individual, a vision passed onto us by Dave Liniger the founder of RE/MAX in the USA. It became our vision too and we have never veered from it.
The right people
Twenty-five years ago, agents had little, if any, say in pursuing a meaningful career in real estate. They were locked into small territories with poor commission splits, minimal marketing aids and no personal promotion. In fact, it was a pretty raw deal and effectively they were simply working for a boss.
Soon came the realisation that RE/MAX was actually just another name, that is all, and what was actually needed was people, the right people with tenacity, persistence and a determination to never give up no matter what obstacles presented themselves.
The empowerment of the individual has created a platform for business-minded property professionals to work unhindered by area boundaries to service their clients at the highest level.
